Prince William and Prince Harry might have received party invites from Sean “Diddy” Combs but the royal siblings never attended any of his notorious events.
“Diddy was obsessed with Prince Harry and Prince William,” Diddy’s former rep Rob Shuter said in an interview with BBC News on Friday, October 18. “He thinks of himself as a king, so it makes perfect sense that he would like to have two princes in his entourage.”
Shuter said William, 42, and Harry, 40, “never accepted” Diddy’s offer to join him at one of the rapper’s fetes. Shuter claimed that Diddy, 54, asked him to call the royals more than 10 times to invite them, per the outlet. He added that Diddy even offered to cover the costs of the royals’ travel, lodging and security.
“[They] never accepted [the invites], they were never part of his world,” Shutter said.
Sean “Diddy” Combs’ infamous parties are being called into question amid the rapper’s legal troubles. After facing several sexual assault and abuse allegations from multiple people, Diddy, 54, was arrested in New York City on September 16 and later charged with sex trafficking and racketeering. In his 14-page indictment, Diddy was accused of orchestrating parties […]
Us Weekly has reached out to reps for both William and Harry for comment.
Shuter shared that Diddy never had a “private life” because his primary focus was building his empire and legacy.
“It was all work. He wanted to make himself the most famous person in the world,” he explained. “And ironically now he is.”

Diddy and his infamous parties made headlines after the music mogul was arrested last month. He was charged with racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking and transportation to engage in prostitution. A 14-page indictment detailed what went on at Diddy’s parties including “Freak Offs,” which were allegedly “elaborate and produced sex performances” that often occurred in hotel rooms.
When Diddy’s homes were raided in March, law enforcement “seized various ‘Freak Off’ supplies, including narcotics and more than 1,000 bottles of baby oil and lubricant,” per the indictment.
Since his arrest, Diddy has maintained his innocence by denying all the allegations and pleading not guilty to the charges.
“He is an imperfect person, but he is not a criminal,” Diddy’s attorney Marc Agnifilo told Us in a statement. “Please reserve your judgment until you have all the facts. These are the acts of an innocent man with nothing to hide, and he looks forward to clearing his name in court.”
For decades, Sean “Diddy” Combs’ parties were the place to be. From his annual Hamptons White Party to blow-out birthday bashes, the lavish, champagne-and-caviar-filled soirees were attended by the likes of Jay-Z and Beyoncé, Diddy’s ex Jennifer Lopez, Leonardo DiCaprio and many more. “They were known to be wild,” a source who attended shares in […]
Diddy was denied bail twice and remains in jail until his trial which is scheduled for May 5, 2025.
Since the news came out about the alleged events that unfolded at Diddy’s parties, many Hollywood stars including Ray J, Nick Cannon, Arsenio Hall and more have opened up about their experiences. Many of the celebrities claimed they did not witness the alleged Freak Offs.
“We’ve never seen the stuff that’s being said and the stuff that people are finding out, like, I’ve never been in rooms that people are talking about, and I never knew they existed,” Ray J, 43, said during a September interview with Chris Cuomo. “And a lot of people in the industry can agree with me on that sense.”
